I'm Writing Us a Book

I sent 38,000 words off to my editor at the end of April.

Thirty-eight thousand.

That’s a whole little book baby. A whole lot of story, sweat, and showing up. And while I’m technically on a break right now (read: not actively revising anything), my brain hasn’t exactly gotten the memo.

Because, of course, the minute I hit send… my brain was like: WAIT! I forgot to say this one thing! And THAT thing! And ooh, what if I rewrote the entire ending of Chapter 5?

Classic.

But I’m reminding myself that writing is rewriting—and every draft is a conversation with the next. So for now, I’m doing my best to rest, celebrate, and (gasp) trust the process. (As always, this entire venture is an exercise in remind you to do as I say, not as I do.😉)

Want a sneak peek at what’s coming?

Here’s a look at the chapter titles from the draft I just submitted. Think of it as a roadmap for the book we’re writing together—because every single one of these sections is shaped by the questions you’ve asked, the growth you’re walking through, and the kind of leader you’re becoming.

Part I: Your Voice
Chapter 1: Hear the Call
Chapter 2: Listen to You
Chapter 3: Clarify Your Values

Part II: Your Shift
Chapter 4: Honor Your Boundaries
Chapter 5: Face Your Fear
Chapter 6: Find Your People

Part III: Your Impact
Chapter 7: Reclaim Your Power
Chapter 8: Advocate for Yourself
Chapter 9: Live Your Truth
Chapter 10: Smash the Patriarchy
Chapter 11: Claim Your Joy

If any of those chapters made you sit up a little straighter or whisper “oof, that’s the one”… same.

This book is a love letter to the overachiever who’s exhausted, the leader who wants to do it differently, and the woman who’s ready to stop waiting and start becoming.

I can’t wait to share more soon. For now, I’m off to daydream (and probably rewrite half of Chapter 6 in my head). Stay tuned.
